Love my 83 xlt and have rebuilt the engine, but the box is pretty beat up. Anyone know what if any other box bed might fit

Yes, any '83-92 long bed will work, you will likely need to use your tail lights and harness, I don't know the change years on those... Your bed has 8 bolts holding it in, later ones had 6 bolts which works fine and they line up with other holes so just use that...
That is unless you have dual tanks which are super rare then you would have to add in another fill lid... the rest of the bed is the same.

If you don't care about looks, you can even use '93-11 long beds too, it'll just look silly and you would have to rewire the tail lights...

Dustin, I've seen it, and you aren't wrong, but that said it will bolt up other than the tail lights
