83-88 bumpers

My wife's a great driver on a macro level. Never hits anyone else.

It's the micro level that could use a little work. The trash cans, the side of the house, garage door.

I found a strip from a closed Ford dealer - he had one left in stock.

Tasca said they can't get it.

Contacted the seller of the rear bumper to see if they'd sell me the front strip since the bumper they have is both creased in two places and rusty, but they'd only sell the whole thing - I have a feeling they'll have it for awhile.

So I bought the NOS one.

i dont know where youre from but here where i live in maryland there are 2 junkyards that i go to when i need any part for my b2 and i see those old bumpers in almost perfect shape every time i go thru the yard. the hard parts to come by here are the distributors, carbs, and efi manifolds everything else around here is relatively esay to find and i think their pretty cheap the bumpers are like $50 if i remember correctly and so i think the impact strip would only be about $15-20

It's weird how the availability of cars varies by areas in the country. I'm in NE Ohio. The yard I go to, there is 1 G1, 3 G2s, and more G3+s than I can count. The 84's bumper is plain, creased in two places, and the chrome is nearly gone, or I'd have grabbed it already.

I've only seen one Bii. It was there when I was looking for a Ranger, and then when I went back after we bought ours, the Bii had been crushed.
