Does anyone have this sub in their ranger? I'm thinking about putting this behind my seat since it takes .33 cu ft of air space. But how accurate is it? Can it handle quick bass hit? Like double pedal bass? I know it handles the low stuff nice.

So yeah, anyone that has heard or has the 8" kicker tell me how it sounds with quick bass.

one of my friends had one in his 96(?) ranger (supercab) with a 600 watt amp. and for just an 8 in a little homemade box sounded pretty good. it hit damn good listening to some whitechapel and bring me the horizon when the double bass hit. also was good with the bass drops in metal songs (super lowwww bass) sounded great with rap too. all in all i would say its a good sub for just some extra bass, not a window shatterer by far though.

This is solid news.
1) My truck doesn't need to shake any more than it already does. And
2) I like to actually hear the music over top of the bass. :)

Well this is good news for me too, i was actually about to ask that question myself lol
