ive been trying to do a rear wheel bearing for 2 days now ran into some big problems first the bolt that holds the carrier pin in was broke got that out finally and then the pin was stuck in one of the spider gears so i ended up taking the whole axle out and over to a buddys shop and cut the pin out and we murdered the one spider gear that the pin was stuck in well i had an old rear axle out of an f150 out back and figured i would be able to use the pin and spiders out of that well no dice with that idea its way bigger the f150 is a 31 spline axle and my ranger is a 28 now heres my question... are all 28 spline spider gears the same? i found the pin the little bolt and all four spider gears for a 28 spline axle on ebay for 15 bucks will they fit in my rear axle?? :icon_confused:

No, they arent all the same. There are 2 different types for the 28 spline:
Limited slip and open diff.

As long as you get the same type that you have now... They will work.
