8.8 locker

Hi guys, I'm new here and need a little help. I'm putting a detroit locker in my 8.8, and have never taken one apart before. It has a LS in it now.
My problem is I'm not sure how to get the axles and c clips out.
If anyone has a write up or a link to a write up or can help explain it I need your help. The more details the better.

i'm not exactly sure but some lockers say they need a open carrier to work cause the l/s carrier is diffrent.

There is an 8mm bolt going through the crosspin that needs to be removed first. After you do that slide the crosspin out and push the axle shafts in and the c-clips should pop right off.
