76 Ford Pinto "The Hulk"

thats cool, mom had a pinto wagon back in the day, couldnt deal with the lack of power steering, ended up with a mercury comet (same as a maverick) the comet was a real rocket, 302 automatic, couldnt keep tires on it, front end wouldnt stay in alignment and the rears were always losing traction and burning tread off.

No i dont know any specs on the beast. Sorry guys, if you ever wanna see it in person, it gets taken to car shows during the summer all the time in and around Reno Nevada.

i remember when pintos were everywhere.now,i think it's been years since i've even seen one.

that one looks real good...i'd rock it.
Yeah, it looks great. Around here all the Pintos rusted away by 1983.

ya,that's about what happened to them this side of the world too.add that to the fact they were considered not worth fixing when something broke, sorta like old tempos are treated today.

Well he had 2 of them almost exactly the same, and sold the other for 10k and is gonna finish up his GMC Grand Sierra and then Re-build his original Mach 1 from when he was 16, and hes the only person to ever own that mach 1! I have never driven the Pinto, iv only rode in it, and lemme tell yah, you cant talk to people in the car unless you yell.

sweet looking pinto

and i doubt 20 years from now, no one will be saying "cool tempo!" if there are a few survivors.

Hard to say.

Pintos were not exactly highly thought of back then either, or even now.

I had one for a short time but it was 30 years ago.

This Pinto is highly thought of. Haha!

It is a nice car no doubt, but they caught a bad rap that still haunts them.

i'm pretty certain this is the case too.even in the 70's i thought the pinto was cool...i've never thought that about the tempo.

on the other hand,in the early 80's i was all about the early falcons, and told my friends they would be worth something in the future(i was paying $0-100 for them at the time)and they all laughed at me.

try buying one now.
