2.3L ('83-'97) 74 Pinto to 90 Ranger


One thing about the 1974 ignition is this: It was ONLY used in 1974. The first year of the 2300, and then electronic from there on out.
Finding a set of points may be a search for hens teeth. I may have a set, but they would be used, and sitting in a box for hmmm. (2021-1975=46) about 45 years.
As I remember, the distributor mount hole did not move from year to year, that would have required a different auxiliary shaft and revised oil pump and pickup as the pump is driven by the aux shaft on the same axis as the regular distributor shaft.
