7.5L_STX: SAS, Big Block Swap

i thought the ring made it bad cuz of no money. now that the little one's here i have next to no time. hopefully once he's a couple month's old it'll be easier.

As for the name of the company i believe it's northern supply cant find my slips to give you an idea of what they charge but i had all my valves redone and had the heads decked and it didnt break the bank by any means. try givin them a call and make sure they still do it (since its been over 3 years). if all else fail's carquest in mqt does them but as i said ive heard of some big oops storys from there. the good news is they have to replace your item if they wreck it (heard stories of having to replace heads, blocks and tons of other stuff.

I'm off to get my engine balanced soon. I wish I was in the USA for this. Sooo expensive in Canada. $300 + 14% tax. Not cool.

I think you missed the point there bud.

oops lol, thats what a lack of sleep does i guess! well, i decided to go home after my first shift was over on account of the fact that i fell asleep while standing up.......at the urinal :annoyed:

I hope you didn't fall in :icon_idea:

I'm rather impressed. Theres no way i could ever be comfortable enough in a public restroom to fall asleep. Mind you i've shat it some shotty shitters before, but i always take preventative measures and perform a solid aar upon completion. Any cut corners are straightenned out when the propper supplies are made available.

I've found that nos (the energy drink) will cure my physical exhaustion to the point that when my brain tries to shut down my body won't let it. I hate drinking that crap but i drive.for a.living. Me getting drowsy at work is a deathwish.

Now back to the build damnit!

well it was like 4am so there wasnt anybody that was gonna walk in on me. i guess i leaned on the wall to stabilize myself and i just kinda passed out.....lol. and as for NOS, im drinking 1 right now cause i have to pull 3 more doubles and the coffee hasnt been cutting it.

and patience! i cant get back to the build until my stuff gets delivered, but i have been thinking about finding a set of 3/4 or 1 tons to throw underneath it...wishful thinking i 'spose.

That shits a dime a dozen around here. Before i decided on rocks i had a kp d60 and a sterling i started to freshen up. Drove an hour out of town and sold them for twice what i payed. Basically paid for the rocks.

Take a drive to virginia....

the never ending debacle over larger axle's
when i swaped in a D30 everyone said ditch the 30 and swap a 44.
when i swaped the 44 in everyone said ditch the 44 and go 60

as soon as i go 60 everyone is gonna say why not rock's

:icon_idea:Well then, jump ahead of everyone and put Electric motors at each wheel, and a generator in the engine bay and a few batteries in the bed, that way you can never break, spin, bend or hangup a axle, you wont have any. :icon_thumby:

id just run whats under there because its already there. if and when it breaks upgrade it then. who knows it may never break if you wheel sensibly your only on 35s. ( yes i know big block but just dont hammer down)

My EB has a D30 in the front. Was used on a farm for pulling bales of hay and stuck tractors.. Just a touch over 40,000 miles and never on a public road. Suspension is original... Mud/dirt is different than rocks though.
