My B2500 has developed a noise in the rear end somewhere. I originally thought it to be the r/driver side whell bearing but now I'm not so sure.
The noise is a pulsating howl, that goes away UNDER LOAD.....if I put in the clutch or while slowing down it gets really bad. There is a noticeable pulsating of the truck kind of like a bad wheel might make. (no it not..;-))
I also am experiencing a grating noise on tight left turns or if i made a tight turn in reverse (probably the same manuver ) but it doesn't happen enough to know for sure. I almsot ordered bearings and seals (kit) but thought i'd be better to wait and figure it out first.
If it is bearings and/or something else in the rear end would I be better off to get a different diff from the wreckers??
Thanks Mike
