7.5 rear end frozen bolt

Its a 5/16th bolt. Oriley sells a stripped bolt head socket kit that might save you. Use a wobble extension to get the socket square on the bolt.

Might try hammering on an E-Torx socket if the extractor sockets aren't working for you.
Just know that you'll probably be tossing the socket with the bolt.

Got a welder? Weld another short bolt to the head of that one. Bonus in that the heat of welding should loosen the loc-tite if you're quick.

too late for this instance, but the bolts for a 9.25 axle have a larger head.
you'll have to grind a bit off the tip to match the overall length.

5 seconds wouldn't even have burnt off the gear oil sheen, by heat what were you using? A butane torch would take a couple minutes, propane torch 30 seconds, hair drier like an hour...

Just realize you're trying to heat up 1/2 pound of steel to 300 degrees... that takes time!

That and that bolt head is screwed, oof...
I was talking about heating it enough to melt the Locktite, 300 degrees would be too much, you don't want to affect the hardness of the metal.

Would 300 really affect the steel? We run our injection units at work at 400F to 700F all the time. Sometime with 100,000PSI of injection pressure. No problems.
