Great thanks! I'll have pics of the new PCP Diff Cover in Anodize Blue up in a few days. Still have to wait for my gasket and wheel bearings to get here from Rock Auto...

I looked on autozone and they said 3 1/4 for 8.8 and 2 3/4 for 7.5. I needed to know because I thought it would be easier to fill before reinstalling the diff cover and before I installed the rear in my b-II, and it is easier, especially at -16C. I haven't checked yet to see how accurate they are.

at 2.5 my 8.8 started flowing out the fill hole. I would check online in a haynes or chiltons or something not the autoparts store website, they are always off.

According to Mitchell OnDemand, the Ranger with a 7.5" takes 5 pints(2.5 quarts). 3 quarts is the perfect amount to get. Don't know why I didn't just check Mitchell in the first place

Also, do you absolutely need RTV when you're putting the diff back together if you have a new gasket, or can you get away with just the gasket?
