7.3 swap

i know this is off the regular subject but this site is full of smart people with lots of info so i thought i'd throw it out...i have this 78 supercab, motor, 460 is toast and out, am considering 7.3 powerstroke swap and deisal zf5 spd...also thinking of dually conversion... truck has f250 front and rear springs w/rear air assist bags, dana 44 and 60 w/4.10s, 205, v8 zf5, and standard frame...any ideas and tips are helpful, thanks guys..

2nd thing going to look at 74 crewcab that has 95 frame and running gear including wiring and dash cluster for ideas..

seems like a job for a 6bt to me.


if your stuck on a international then a mechanical injected early 7.3 with a hypermax setup would be cake. a psd wouldnt be worth the cost and hassel generally.

just depends on what kind of deals you can get
