i've read the tread in the tech library about 4-6'' coil swap and was thinkn bout doing it, only question is i currently have a 4'' lift and was woundering if i'd still be able to get the alignment into spec??? thanx in advance.

You should be able to. A lot of people tend to run the beam pivots in the 4 inch holes with 6 inch coils.

when i had mine in the 4'' holes the camber was horrible and couldn't get it within spec, so i dropped them down to the lower holes and waaala, was rite in spec. this mite have to take place here when i get some money comming in, i'm thinking the front has or is starting to wear out, in the past year, the front has lost maybe 1-2'' of its height.

The 6" Skyjacker coil swap on a 4" lift works best on Supercab trucks. If you don't have a SC, but have 100lbs or more added weight on the front (winch, bumper, dual batteries, etc.), it should still work.

yea i'm planning on building some bumpers in the near future but it currently has no winch, one day it will, and its a reg cab long bed. maybe i'll just hold off for now. thanx for the input
