is it possible to put a 2000 dodge cummins in a ranger? or way the hell to many mods to say skrew it after the thought.

the 6bt made what was originally a 5.8 F250 feel noticeably heavier in the nose...

miami outlaw diesel did one they have a page on super motors

if it was like a v-8 swap i would but i think im just gunu beef the **** out of the engine in my dodge.

the 2000 is a 24 valve correct? too much torque, it would twist the frame. I measured my explorer (gen1) once and an older 12 valve would work. 3" BL and relocating the radiator to the front outside of the core support and running an electric pusher fan and it would fit with out modifying the firewall, but it would still be tight and way heavy.

you would be better off to move the firewall back 5 or 6 inches to keep a decent balance and the 24 valve is possible but you are talking a heavy iron monster after all the frame bracing is done

i would move it back too for wt dist in a 2wd. but with a workable radiator in the front side of the core support you probably wouldnt have room for a pusher. iwould likely put a radiator under the bed and a big intercooler up front:D

he probably moved the wheels forward for wt distribution so the cab space culd be kept intact.

too much torque? with a stock 24 valve? hmmm.. yeah its got alot, but the weight to mod the frame isnt very much, you would basically end up 1000-1300 pounds over stock with a truck like the video has with a cage making it similar to a 1/2 ton.
