I want to do the 64" spring swap to my ranger. I can get the chevy springs no problem, but I was just wondeirng how to go about re-arching the springs? Thanks

take them to a shop that re-arches springs...mine were $90 for both

I didn't save the bookmark:bawling:, it was a site for old hot rods. There was a thread about this subject. Two slightly different ways;
1] Use 2 old chunks of railroad, lay spring across and beat with b.f.hammer. Draw arc that you want on floor or ? and beat spring till it matches arc.
2] Use Press instead of b.f.hammer.
I'll be trying the press method in the near future.
Good luck and keep us updated if you do this,
Richard
