alright so i started on the swap the other day got the factory hangers front and rear off and ordederd new ones. backs came in but fronts wont be here till tommarow

im doing the shackle flip with a beltech shackle and i need to know how much to have my springs rearched looking for just an inch over factory with no block...so what should i go? ive heard 12 inches several places but i called the spring shop today and they acted like i was a dumbass when i mentioned 12 inches like it was impossible.

also what can i do with the e-brake cables? im going to need longer ones correct?

how far should i move my rear bracket back? ive read that a good angle is the shackle at 90 degrees to the leaf but is that at ride height?

am i going to have to cut the bed for shackle clearance?

here is a few pictures of progress so far...

wow i think you need other parts b4 you needed those springs hit a big bump and your cab will be on the frame fix the cab mount

working on that also....that back side of that mount is the only one thats rusted...so gunna throw some plate on it and call it a day

If you re arch the springs 12" you do realize they will be quite a bit shorter than 63" right?

Seems like a lot of trouble to go through...why the shackle flip?

several members on here have used this setup with good returns so im copying the setup...

i dont really need any lift just trying to increase my rear flex

after playing with a tape measure im deffinantly going to have to cut the bed for shackle clearance...

hopefully will be getting the springs arched after work
