before everyone jumps on my back i was wondering everyone says you have to move your front shackle 6" forward and well i have PLENTY of room for it! i have also heard that you need to cut a body mount to fit the 63's. but by my measurements this is not true at all i have almost 11"'s of room to a body mount! so please will some one help me out!?!?

here is a picture for reference

Most are referring to the 97' or older trucks, they have a different body mount and spring hangar. It's even easier on the newer trucks then the old ones, git r done and have fun!

The cutting/modifying of the body mount was referring to on Bronco IIs.

I know on my truck the hangar overlapped the cab/box mount when moved ahead for 63's. I just threw a washer under the lower front hole to make it all sit square(ish) and it's been like that for the better part of 4 years with no issue.

short cab trucks dont have the body mount in the way, mine had plenty of room.

the older extended cab have a front bed mount as part of the rear cab mount, on the newer ones they changed the frame so the bed just sits flush on the frame instead of needing a mount. Thats where the interference comes from.
