will a 6 disc changer form a super duty or a new f150 fit in my ranger? i have a xlt with a cd now, factory. and a buddy of mine has one he says i can have. will it plug in? will it be too deep? thanks in advance

I'm not sure, would that be the pioneer unit? If it is go to Ford and cross-reference it with the 6CD in the new Rangers (FX4's definetly have it). The Rangers are a slightly less than double-din opening.

yea i think it will. i think the only problem will be the wiring??

No, you will have to get a 6 disc unit from a Ranger. The newer F-Series trcks and Explorers mount differently.

If you get one from a Ranger, it will be plug and play in your 2000.
