does anybody know a good seat setup for a 1994 ranger reg cab, with 5 speed. im about 6' 2" to6' 3" depending on what convience store im leaving. and its not a very good fit.it has 60/40 seat in it right now. any help would be appreciated.

From my exp with 60-40's I would throw in ANY bucket conversion would help!

ronv :) :) :)

anybody ever use a set of low backs like in a volkswagen. theyre cheap and i think it would give me more room and look bitchin.

Anybody else have any ideas

im 6'1 and the stock 60/40 seats are fine for me. Im not even close to the headliner or anything. Any bucket can be fabbed to fitting. Some ford probe seats would be kinda badass if there high enough.

Best solution is to get a fullsize truck

I'm 6 foot four with a reg cab and bench seats, I don't have any problems. mind you I have acquired a slight hunch from fitting into my fiero...

Some people are built differently than others.

I'm 5'11" and I know there are people who are 2-3" shorter than me but they sit higher in my truck than I do. I noticed it one day and couldn't figure out why until I stood next to them.

I have a short torso and long legs.

Oh, and if you can look for an automotive upholstery shop, they may be able to fab up a way to lower your seat springs or thin out the foam enough to change how you sit in it. (just a thought... I know of a shop around my area that could do it, I think.)

I thought the bucket seats generally led to less legroom and headroom than the 60/40?

Cavalier seats work great and give more leg and head room. Anyone worth their weight can make them fit.

i fit ok height wise its the leg room thats the killer.

and i had an f150 for awhile i didnt notice much difference in comfort.
