Anyone know what a 6.0L powerstroke or a 6.6L Duramax weigh?
Or their measurments?

Here are the referenced facts, mostly from manufacturer or distributors websites. Maybe I'll pin this and we can try to keep it updated since we get a lot of these questions.

Is that with accessories, or just block and head(s)... I've seen numbers all the way into the 1200lb range for a 6BT...

These numbers are more than likely the way the engine was delivered by the supplier. By using the manufacturers numbers this should be as close to apples to apples as is possible.

In my estimation, the 460 probably is a dressed weight and the rest are running engine without accessories.

I would be nice if we could get other engine weights up here too (SBF, SBC, small displacement diesels, etc)... I know I did a ton of searching when I was looking for a suitable diesel swap candidate...

The cummins 4BT is in the upper 700's, dry and likely undressed. I had a thing for it but I can't find it.

An all cast iron 302 is likely about 520 lbs as best as my research has done. Start putting aluminum heads, intake, headers, etc, and you can get them down to 480# abouts.

I also have a spreadsheet with other component weights--trannies, t-cases I guess. Done by me on my wife's digital scale. Maybe I should post it and see if people will weigh their own stuff and add it.

I've got a list of weights of several small diesels (mostly foreign) that I had researched that would be a good fit for a RBV... Mercedes, The VM Motori from the Jeeps, and Ford's Duratorq, I'll post them up... I doubt anyone would want them, but they might prove useful someone such as myself, instead of searching for days they can all be right there...

the 756 on the 6.2 has to be fully dressed

460 wieghts can vary by over 30 pounds depending on year from early to later models

The 6.0 works out just fine in a 2005.....in case anyone was wondering.
