yo, on my 88 ranger 2.9 5speed 2wd, if i push in the clutch she still wont go in to any gear. i tried bleeding the clutch with my dad and its still the same, any ideas?
thanks

could this be the master cylinder?
thanks

On my 02 I changed the tranny fliud out and it worked better. I could not get into 1st. i thought it might need to have the clutch bled. But it works great now

Not that I don't have faith in you...

But it probably wasn't bled fully, or, you have an air bubble in the master. But....the slave could have gone bad, it happens all the time.

thanks guys and ill try bleading it again and the slave is probably a couple thousand kilometers old my brother changed it a year ago

i changed my slave a year ago as well, and just got done changing it again. internal leak. its hit or miss with those things. if you put a new one in, don't bleed it like brakes. the way i bled my new one was i plugged the line in, took the cap out of the resivoir, filled it full, opened the bleeder screw a full turn for 10 seconds, closed it, got in the truck and pumped the clutch up. works amazing.
