5r55e swap

I recently swapped a 5r55e out of a 2000 ranger into my 2001 ranger. Transmission is shifting perfectly accept the o/d off light is flashing after I reach 35 mph or so. I noticed on the 2000 transmission there is no TSS sensor and I am assuming this is the reason the light is flashing. Any way to bypass this sensor or am I stuck with a flashing light?

not sure about the TSS sensor, but I would try fitting a valve body on that is made for a 2001 ranger. theyre all interchangeable, but the valve bodies were a little different year to year and i have found that using the right one for the year of your truck matters. get it from rockauto.com, or get it from somewhere that can match your vehicle's vin number with the correct valve body.
