500 miles and not happy

My 2000 mounty to 99ranger was a plug and play swap, no issues with the speedo its actully only 2 mph off. Not sure how to link to my build thread but i'll try tonight to get it linked.

95-97 rangers with 96-97 ex donors are plug n play, they didn't have the electrical differences that 98-01 donors have...

not true.... the evap systems are totally different. my 95 ranger used evap solenoid and flow sensor.. 97 explorer and mountaineer could have had the vapor management valve and solenoid with a tank pressure sensor... the 2 are not compatible without a custom tune!

Electrically, the wiring in the 42 pin plug (C115) are the same. It's the solenoids/sensors for the scale system that needs to be changed. I deleted my emissions from my truck, and if you do like me, or don't want to change the emissions system, then yes, you can get a custom tune to delete or make the two compatible....

can't change emission system on my 95 without grafting in a port for the fuel tank pressure valve... only option from that is a custom tune to delete...that i am working on with www.moates.net....as i have 4 ford vehicles to custom tune now! a '49 ford f1 with a 99 mustang 4.6, a '93 mustang with holley systemaxii, a '64 comet with mustang 5.0 and my 95 ranger
