5 speed fill plug help

Trying to get the fill plug off my 84 mazda B4000 with a 5 speed manual trans. I have heated it, tried to break it loose with a chisel and have tried a breaker bar.
Any advice or ideas on how to get that SOB off so I can check the fluid level???

Twist socket.

Six sided 15/16" socket on an impact with swivel (u-joint) worked for me.

They make 8 point sockets specifically for the male square drive plugs. I imagine they also make a socket drive for the female plugs.

They also make 4 point sockets for square drive plugs, and they do make the 4-pt male ones that are effectively paying out money for a socket that is the exact same as the end of your ratchet, but the OP is dealing with a traditional 6 point bolt head.
