I seen a 2001 Ford Explorer out in front of Neils Scrapyard last night on my way home from work. Stop to take a peek at it and it didn't even have a dent in it!

I sold my 04 exploder to buy a little ranger .. only because of mpgs.. Id hate to call it a clunker because for 50k miles i didnt have ANY problems with it AT ALL.. just routen maitence. 4.0 was a gas hog tho.

It dosnt suprise me that exploders are 1 .. they are pretty much control majority of SUVs .. at least thats what i see on the road. (plus they are just freakin nice lol)

I have been driving my gf's corolla around town. The gas mileage seems to be double the amount than a ford ranger 4.0.

My wife owns a Jap car ( well did till recently,she finally bought American! ).I wouldn't let her park it in the drive way or near my Ranger. Told her my Ranger might eat it or run it over while in 4 wheel low.

I've owned a few jap cars and have no willingness or desire to own one again. American cars are just as good as import. Anyone that says other wise can piss off!

Besides that there is no proof as to how beat and abused some of them are could be a bunch with 200K+ as far as we know.

Yeah, a friend of mine traded in his 200k plus f150 for a new domestic minivan.
His had to be towed in and was a rust heap, as well.
