It's now in my 77 Comet.
It's now in my 77 Comet. I just know you're going to confuse the hell out of someone, don't tell them you're also running tri-power.I had a 5.4 in my Ranger once. Bolted right in too.

Anything is doable, from what I've read the 5.4L is way too big to fit without a ton of fabrication. A Ford 460 fits better than the 5.4L, since the 5.4L has a very long block.
But if you've got the time and skills, anything is doable!![]()
What's the stock HP rating on a truck 5.4, something like 300? Sure don't seem like there would be much payback in doing the swap. Rebuilding any of the mod motors is expensive, really limited on boring and stroking options. Can always throw a blower on it but thats $2500-5000. Guess I'm too much old school but would sure go with a small block stroker, especially in a late model.

Am I the only one that gets it?You got it.
I once thought about having a fender emblem made for a 5.4 tripower instead of a 5.4 triton.
