5.0 with 4x4 and a 5 speed... is it possible?

Can the 5.0 from an explorer bolt up to my transmission thats for my 4.0 ohv?

Will it be reliable? Will the transfer case take it?
My truck is 1991 ranger xlt 4x4 extended cab.

If not what could I do to keep 4x4 and the five speed while doing the 5.0 swap..

No, your 4.0 trans won't bolt, yes it can be done. It has been done many times. Use the search button, too many options to list here...
