5.0 swap in a 90' ext cab ranger

Hey everyone! Great site... Stumbled on it google searching 5.0 swaps for my 90 ranger. Been thinking bout doing this for a while but don't really know where to start... Taking out a 2.9 rattle trap v6 auto with who knows how many miles. Wanting to go back with roller 5.0, carbed, with early non- electronic aod and 8.8 rear. Any info on distributor set up, headers, exhaust, really anything of knowledge on this matter will be so helpful. Thanks...
Oh... Will be a driving truck, not a track only vehicle.
