heres where i am
88 2.3(bored 30 over) 5speed 2wd
6" fab tech lift w 33's fiberglass fenders on front, custom phantom grill , baja front bumper and 15x8 black steel wheels pre runner style

when i return home from my deployment:
return down to stock or 3'' lower than factory
5.0 swap with a e303 cam,cobra intake, a 75mm throttle body spacer,bbk cold air intake,bbk shorty headers,gt40 heads msd wired/or ford racing

the ????
what yeard does the explorer/mercury mountaineer come with the gt40's?
where can i get a good lowering kit ?
can the 2wd lift work on the 4wd ?
is there a good place to get a easy wiring guid for the motor swap ?
what mods do u need to get the 5.0 to sit in the truck ? also wanting to run a t5 tranny with this swap.

Check out the technical library. Due to all of the variations, all cannot be put into one document. Get wiring specific diagrams for the Ranger and (donor or painless harness per se).

Lots of mods, most are already covered. The first thing you'll want to think about is motor mounts and headers. A later FEAD is shorter for more cooling clearance. Lost of different routes you can take. As far as other modifications, make it fit... Get started on it and when you get stuck, ask, these questions have been covered time and time again and are very broad.

My brother was under the impression that it would just 'fit' when we chatted about him doing a 289 swap, but that is not really the case... Lots of little things...
