5.0 Swap help

Just make sure whatever flywheel you're getting that it's a 164-tooth flywheel.

The 164T flywheel must also have the correct imbalance: 28.2 oz-in for early 302, 50 oz-in for late 302.

I got one out of a 89-90 302 f150 I'm sure it's a 164T not sure of the blance on it but I hope it's rite cause I'm putting it in tomarrow I went and bought my return line and every thing I was wondering about Useing a 4.9 fly with my 98 motor let me know if I can I'm goin to start tomarrow as long as I can get my cherry picker back

You have the correct balance, all efi (sbf) V8 motors used only one balance...

89-90 302 f150 flywheel should be OK with the 98 Ex 5.0 motor.

The 4.9 flywheel is zero imbalance - incorrect for your engine.

Well got all my parts together and on my way home from work my truck got hit in the rear not good for a fiber glass step side but thanks to every one for the help and when I get the ranger back from the body shop I'll get started on my swap if they don't total it out
