I was wondering if someone could chop a photo for me. Thinking about wire wheeling the upper intake and painting it black. I just cannot decide on how to paint the plate. I was thinking about doing the depressed sections in ford blue and the top in black or flip it around. Can anyone hook me up?

Here you go . . . not sure if I got them exactly Ford blue but it gives you an idea.

If the intake were smoothed out a little, and some of the chips and knicks were filled, I think doing it the same color as the truck would be awesome! Then you could do the recessed parts of the plate in an accent color like orange or red.

Could you do a grey intake and the recessed part in red and then in orange please?

How are these . . .

Great thanks. Now I just have to decide which one I want to do now.

You want different? Start with one of these.

Now if I could only find that plate.

You can buy something like this and get it machined:

These are a couple I have laying around. The black one is probably my favorite of all of them. As far as Mustangs go, they only came on the 86. They also came on Crown Vics, and a couple other 5.0 equipped cars.

$45 for that plate that still needs machining is a bit steep to me! I had that Ranger V-8 one made for $50 to my door. Just ordered another ten of them, don't know if I can sell them here or not. It's not a for profit deal at all.
Dave of the Nord - tube coming.

I'm sure they would sell!
