yeah i know what u mean a lot of shit could be tired into eachother but there is like 10 or so wires that are not connected to anything theres 2 plugins with 5 or so wires on them i only used 3 or so to get it turn key running and it seams to run fine but that the heck are the others? maybe accessorys for the mustangs interior?

its funny, cause on most eec4 dizzy setups 1 wire run to the coil will run it.



other wires depend on use. if a guy wants "setup ac", cruise control, all the factory gauges, check engine light...and other things like boo if applicable, full functioning neutral safety, hot wires for the o2 sensors ect of this nature wiring becomes a bit involved.


things you want hooked up correctly vary with harness type. but the o2 heaters, power at crank to pin 30 on auto pcm's and the fuel pump on the eec controls are the main ones for a good driver
 
yes I'm hooking up heated o2 and all the important stuff I have all mechanical guages so no worries there thanks for all your replays guys

I'm running the headman headers they fit great with little mod I got more pics I'll put up when I get home from vegas

of corse im not finished yet and have a lot more to do.. but im happy she runs and sounds pretty healthy!! ooo i cant wait to do a burnout! and i konw its not a hemi ;-)
 
hey man did you use the kit off summit by any chance cause i cant figure out the mounts,
 
i got thoes headman headers and have the same clearance issues, both sides are about 1/4 inch away from the frame, but i'm gonna shave some out of the frame. but nice build.

I used mustang convertable mounts swaped left to right, I did not get the kit, like everyone says It depends on were you position your motor is were it matters how your headers will fit mine fit pretty damn good just the passanger side needed a little work I still need to finish up a lot of little things
 
Looks really good! Try holding the camera so it's straight up and down. I had my head on my shoulder and now my neck is kinked LOL. I'll have to post up some pics of my 85 soon I just put a new set of wheels on her.

LOL its video from my Iphone when i took it off the phone and on the comp it was sideways:icon_confused: pics are always great post when ya can! and thanks a lot i kinda rushed it and well to me its a little sloppy but ill touch her up im also wondering if i really need the 4 cats the mustang had on it i was only gonna put 2 or 1 back on
 
i used exaust manifolds off a v8 mountaineer i know headers are better but i have no clearence issues and mustang mounts
