I just pulled 19lb injectors out of a 5.0 crown vic. I was wondering if there was anything else i had to do before i installed them in my 2.9

They will make your truck run like absolute crap, not worth the time or the effort.

On your stock map/sd computer? No way! :icon_thumby:

Your computer is calibrated for the stock 14lbs injectors, it's just expecting them to flow at that rate, it will ultimately run too rich and probably not idle to save it's life.

I did get them working pretty well on a MAF setup, but that obviously required a MAF conversion and I had to tweak my MAF readings with a MAF air adjuster. Still ran rich at idle, but did idle well. But keep in mind I didn't do this to a bone stock motor. The stock injectors are even more than sufficient for your engine in stock form. Just dumping more gas down it's throat won't get you any more power, it will make this much worse.
