5.0 explorer in 96 ranger. plz help

i have a 96 ranger, 4.0 4X4.
This past week i hydrolocked my motor and i was looking into dropping a 5.0 in it.
i got a really good deal on an 97 explorer 5.0.

I know the explorers only came out with automatic transmissions.

Can i make this motor work with my (a) 5 speed transmission?

Im sure i need the correct computer or have it reprogrammed, not counting trying to rewire for my manual. Any advice. i want to make this motor work

ive read a bunch of times lol.
it says that you can use your original tranny, but you have to swap your bell housing.
My bell housing isnt removable - M5R1 5 speed
is there a tranny that i can use that will work with my transfer case that has a removable bell housing?
