Alright my attempts to rebuild my shift motors has failed the original one and the junkyard one. And I don’t have the money right now to buy a new one so. My question is if I take off the motor and shift it manually into 4x4 then I could use my manual hubs to engage and disengage the 4x4 right?

This not gonna mess anything up will it? I hardly ever drive the truck maybe 2 or 3 miles a week but however I will drive it when the roads are bad and it would be in 4x4. Also if it means anything it’s a 92 with bw 1354 thanks

Yes. If you have manual hubs you can shift the tcase into 4H and drive it like that, engaging the hubs when you want 4x4. As long as your front Ujoints are in good shape, you wont have any problems.
