I have a 1988 Bronco II i just recently bought it back and most of the interior got ripped out including the 4x4 push button, and half the wiring. Does anybody have a wiring diagram for it? And is it possible to make it work with toggle switches or push buttons?

That's probly about all those pushbuttons are Brango, fancy toggle switches, each one moves it to the next position(or back), but you'll surely get a more detailed answer in time.

Welcome to TRS :)

With an ON|OFF|ON toggle yes, it tells the 4x4 Module what you want, 2WD, 4High or 4Low
OFF would be 2WD, each ON would be either 4H or 4L you choice

There is a 4x4 control module behind a panel on the passenger side dash, thats what really runs the 4WD

Do you know where i can find the wire colors for that, they basically just cut everything out.
So only need one toggle switch

Thank you for the help hopefully I can get this all taken care of soon and finish out the truck
