4x4 switch location

Is it possible to relocate the 4x4 push button switch on the ceiling to somewhere in the dash like a 89-92 style? I can fab a metal case for it. Any suggestions?

You would probably just have to re-arrange the wiring is all.

the switches are just momantary on/off right? i wonder i you coud just use momentary switches from checker?

There is a little more circuitry involved than just the momentary switches. It is quite annoying actually.

Relocating the whole think will be easy. PM me if you want the dimensions in a pdf. I drew it on Vectorworks at work because I replaced mine with a custom phone holder.

yeah i just pulled a spare appart, it doesnt look that complex just have to keep the board intact... and can move the switches where ever

Forgot to say it is an 1988 Ranger

My first switch was busted and I pulled the one off my wrecked 87'. It is not much better....the housing that the lights and foam are connected to is disintegrating. I thought I would make a box for it and locate it in the dash or in front of the stick.

This is what I got...

Maybe relocate it in one of these areas...
