4x4 spindle

My camber was messed up in the front end which caused the bearings to go out and not my wheel moves up and down.

So i need new spindles. How can ford just discontinue parts from a 1994 ranger. I think its crap that i cannot find these parts anywhere, what am i suppose to do? Throw away my whole truck cause one part breaks? Down here in Houston Texas nobody has 4x4.

Are you certain the spindle is toast? It takes a lot of abuse to scrap a spindle. As far as finding a replacement, rockauto.com. Or head to the nearest pick 'n pull.

More than likely you're spindle is fine. Get all six bearings, they come separately in case you didn't know. Four of 'em are wheel bearings and two of 'em are spindle bearings. Most people say screw it and don't replace spindle bearings, but I think that keeping good ones in my truck is one reason I can beat the tar outta my auto hubs.

Right there with ya man! I've seen people remove them all together because the old ones.were so shot they couldn't slip the spindle over the stub shaft, then they wonder why their front end is so noisy and why they go through hubs, bearings, and brakes so fast.

If you do determine the spindles are shot, i do believe i have a set laying around somewhere, they're yours if ya need 'em. Just pay the shipping.

I was told buy the dealer that Dana/Spicer discontinued them, not Ford.

Plus, Jim sells them brand new.
