4x4 Help on 07 Ranger

I have a 2007 Ranger FX4 Level 2 just got it and have been reading everything I can find to try and solve this without a new thread but still couldn't since most didn't apply to me.

When I put it into 4H or 4L you hear the click and the dash light comes on and stay on, no flashing but I have no power to the front tires. After everything I read since I don't have Vacuum hubs or manual locking hubs and my front axle is always spinning so I assume its something in the transfer case even though I hear the relay click and have the dash indicator that its working. I have worked on cars for years but never 4x4. Any help would be appreciated.

Could be the shift fork inside.

The shift motor has contacts in it's case that run the dash lights, so if the motor turns to the right position the correct dash lights will come on.
And since you hear a click or clicks I would assume the shaft in the transfer case is turning as it should.
The shift forks are on that shaft, if shift fork has come loose from shaft or is broken then there would be no 4WD.
Does the gearing change in 4WD Low?

Which I change to 4L you hear the click the light comes on and for like 2 feet it feels like the front is pulling then absolutely nothing from the front. Almost feels like when the clutch slipping on a manual transmission if you can understand that.
