A4ld
About 5 yrs ago I was in Vegas and my A4LD took a crap on me,,, I found a guy on here that had what he said would work an A4LD, I have a 93 4.0 4x4 Navajo, His trans was out of an 89 BII, The 93 A4LD has 2 Electronic plugs on the driver side,,, the 89 only had 1 place to plug something in, I found that out AFTER I sent him Money, Had it Shipped from South Texas to Las Vegas, All that was $300,, $100 for trans and $200 to ship it, I learned a Very good lesson then,, BUT on the Up side I was able to use the Pump and Bell Housing from shipped trans to fix mine temporarily, until I got back here to Oregon,, So I would Vote for the "Wont Work",, Make sure you know what parts your going to buy to attempt repairs, Even on here I am sure someone has lied to someone to get a part sold, As far as the 2wd vs. the 4wd a buddy of mine in a Trans shop says they both need to be tore down to allow the swap of the tail shaft, And No I would say the Aerostar A4LD WONT fit in the BII,, but then I just noticed you didnt say what year of Aerostar
