Soo the other day I was changing a tires and a piece of my auto hub came off now when I engage 4wd it sounds like it grinds at 5-10mphs than pops is my 4wd screwed up and I put it back on in the right spot is it just the electronics or cause is it the auto hubs I plan on doin a manual hub conversion soon

Punctuate that please. I understand all the individual words, but not the question you are trying to ask.

Is it the transfer case or the broke hub causing it not to lock basically causing the grinding noise between 5-10mphs

It is the hubs.

After I had some bullet hole rims put on, the guys that did it put them back on and a piece of "something" didn't get put back on. Most of the time, I have to come to a complete stop and it pops right in. Before the rim change, it worked perfectly on the "fly".

I'm deciding whether or not I'm doing the manual hub switch one day or just going to fix these. Not so sure that the manual does anything "extra" for me.

I would take them back off and try repositioning them - that's what I'm going to do in the next week or 2.

I figured I guess once this rain stops ill pop it off and mess around with it alittle
