I was out cruising the mountains the other day and my 4wd high kept disengaging. It's an 84 BII with manual locking hubs and manual 4wd selection shifting. I had to keep my hand pulled back on the lever so that it wouldn't disengage when I was getting out of there. Anybody else have this issue? I'm thinking a linkage issue but I'm not too sure. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Most likely a linkage adjustment issue. My 88 Bronco 2 will kick out of 4WD if its not fully engaged meaning the linkage isn't adjusted properly. I haven't messed with it because I know and can feel where its engaged and I only use the 4WD maybe once a year if that depending on if we have enough snow.
