2001 Ranger V6 4x4 Edge
The lights in instrument panel don't light when truck started. The relays from passenger floor do not engage either. I am assuming it is the CM.
I have had the instrument panel out twice to replace bulbs and may have loosened wires to the switch, but I don't think I did, but will check it again.
I am going to check with the dealer and then try to get a replacement somewhere and just hope that is the problem.
I have read hear about disconnecting battery or dead battery causing damage to CM when power restored. Exactly how would that happen? IF it Does, How could you prevent damage to the CM if you are in that situation.
