4bt swap

I am gathering parts to swap a 4bt into my 04 that I just did a farm off resto on.

I want to get a rolling chassis to trial fit the 4bt into(custom motor mounts, pan fitment, etc) so I can just put the 4bt not my 04 over a weekend.

I found a 01 ranger that has a 3.0. Are the motor mounting points the same for the 01 3.0 and my 04 4.0?

close enough. well close enough for me. i would make full custom units regardless with a shaker. likely use cummins mounts and fab the bracketry.

Maybe I should clarify. Are the engine "perches" the same?The part of the frame where the engine mounts attach. I am more familiar with the full-sizes where the 300 6 cyl has one engine perch, the 302/351w have another, the 351m/400 have another and the 460 has another
