i looked into a lift kit for my truck and they said it was a pain to align the front axle. did youhave a hard time?
No it's not a pain. I've done the last several alignments myself with great results. Just gotta make sure all your bushings are good otherwise you end up
Adjust your camber and caster first (I suggest the two piece camber bushings. There's a great article on here about them) then drive back and forth, check camber (I just do it by eye-balling whether the front tires are vertically parallel with the rear). When camber is good set your toe-in so the front tires are horizontally parallel with the rears. I've taken it in to alignments after doing it myself and the guys usually tweak something an insignificant amount so they can charge me $50 without their consciences bothering them.
