Ok i've looked everywhere on this site for threads of people putting a 422 cam in there 4.0 and can't find any so i'll start one...First Q's. Can i keep the motor in the truck to do this swap...2nd Q's. Will i have to change my valve springs and/or rockers...3rd Q's, when tuning, what steps should i take to get the most out of this swap and still be a daily driver.

You need to ask the company that you are buying the cam from what there recomendations are. They made the cam, they know more about it than anyone.

you can do the swap in the truck, however you will have to remove the radiator and grill.

As mjones said, you will need to remove the radiator, condensor. and possibly the core support assembly. As far as the cam goes, you will need to get upgraded springs and retainers due to the increased lift/duration and overall profile of the cam. You will also need longer pushrods as the comp cams are ground on reduced base circles. Good luck tuning it since your OBD I.
