yeah, i do the same thing at work everyday. never know what you might find. i scored 2 free explorer driveshafts one day.

same here, except i keep an eye on it during class instead of work lol. just got a brand new looking kobalt tool box for 80 bucks. no dents or scratches, both cylinders work, and comes with 2 sets of keys

I'm what people call a "craigslist whore." I'm constantly buying and selling.

Now, those seats look like they are from a rather new truck, did he say what year? That will be the deciding factor in whether he sells them or not. You have to keep in mind, alot of people with new trucks are rather wealthy, and will normally buy parts straight from Ford. Another thing you have to consider is location. Is he located around some body shops or repair stations? They also will be willing to pay more for the exact part, because those seats from Ford will probably run around $1000 for both, and then 100 for the center console. Tracks may also be extra.

He will most likely get CLOSE to his asking price. You'd be amazed.

I'm not saying that ALL seats are worth $400, I have a pair right now I'm selling for $20 or free to a TRS member. I paid around $40 for my Explorer seats at the JY, but I would be able to sell them for between $200-300.

Agreed that $200 would be tops but should be able to find for less at a salvage yard. Mine (out of a 2002ish 2dr Explorer) were definatly less than $200 and all I had to do was pull the covers and clean then to get them to look brand new.

Around here in Central Illinois the local u-pull yard asks $75 for the drivers seat and $50 for the passenger.

well lots of good input as usual,it sounds as though he is close to a begining barter point .to answer koda6966 he did -2004 splitbench is how he refers to them and they are in his 93 single cab(same year as my B4k) so they should swap easy.i need to know WHAT HAS HE GOT GOING BACK IN!?

That's what I got mine for, except I had to pay extra for my drivers seat because it was power. My junkyard has average prices on most stuff but has amazing sales ever weekend.

You won't see an 04 at my junkyard, and if you do it's a commercial truck and has a vinyl bench seat.
