well ive decided on one thing. got rid of my l5 12'' and im putting 4 twelves in the back of my ranger. ive got two MA audio 12''s in a nice ported box. im going to power them with a memphis 500watt rms amp then im getting two memphis PR 12''s and im going to power them with a memphis 480rms amp. got a compacitor from wally world ( i know im cheap) and i think im going to put another car battery in there. i might use the memphis 480 for my speakers seeings how its 4 channel and get another memphis 500. ill get some pics when the ranger gets outa the shop.

First off say goodbye to your hearing, you should not need the cap or 2nd battery with only 750rms. Other wise good luck trying to fit all that in a ranger.

dont mix subs, it sounds awful. Stick with the best two or buy ones that are the same as what you have. Its just plain stupid to use two different kind of subs or sizes.

two of em are in a low profile box and ill just set it on top of the other box...ill make it fit, and as for the mixing subs and whatnot, i had two powerbass 12''s and an infinitiy ten all running off a 4 channel amp and it didnt sound bad. if i dont like the sound of these ill take two out and put em in my sisters camaro.

loud ranger your truck looks bout the same as mine. check out my car domain

hahaha..im doin the same, takin out my 4 tens and puttin them in my gf's civic and i think ima run 4 twelves..prob the same as i have now, the memphis pr12d4's with either a memphis pr1000.1 or two pr500.1's....

and as far as losing your hearing, i dont think thatll happen. ive been running my tens for quite some time now, and i dont really have a loss of hearing, just on long trips listening to it at high volume for a long time my ears ring for a little while

and fitting them ina ranger wont be a problem either, my four tens are ina box thats about 5cuft and i still have enough room to recline my seats a little bit

I'm not calling anyone anything, just keep that list in mind and I'm only 20 and I have hearing loss due to loud music, that's why I run an SQ system.

sooo what exactly are you runnin? your 20 and have hearing loss? that seems a little far fetched...im 20 and have been around loud things my whole life and have yet to notice any hearing loss. or so i think.

750 rms...i thought 500 rms + 480 rms usually comes out to about 980 rms...unless im retarted

Yeah, uh don't talk on a phone, watch Tv, and do math.... for the hearing loss I was a DJs helper from the age of 12-15 so like every 3rd night of being around that can do it, the loss is mostly in the upper freq. range, so i can't always hear police cars, and anything more then a single 15'' feels like bleeding. and I can't do concerts anymore.
