4 speed 4x4

It would make a good parts truck for everything I need to finish the 302 swap. I'm just afraid of the 4 speed. Is the clutch hard to swap and will it fit?

Thats what I put in mine is the four speed 4x4 tranny with np205 tcase with twin stick. I thought it was easy. All the clutch stuff worked with my ranger setup. The only thing is to fit the four speed is you definetely want a body lift. my motor is as low as I can get it and with 3 inch body lift it has an inch and a half of room between the tunnel. good luck

$500 seems like a lot for a transmission and t-case. It will have either a T18, T19 or NP435 which are all decent transmissions. It won't have an NP205, but a will have either a BW1356 or maybe a BW1345. Unless you are going to swap the axles which it will have an 8.8 in the rear, I dont' think it's worth $500 for the parts you will use. If it were a V8 truck it would be a better deal.

Last I heard what you don't use is worth $200/ton

If it is indeed a simple fix you could flip it and put your profit towards more ideal parts.

Well it's not only the trans its the axles and the drivelines too.
I also plain to part out or scrap the rest and all of my old parts on the b2 (axles, drivelines, trans, motor, etc.) so I could make some of my money back.
