i have a 4" lift kit off of a 4wd truck that i solid axled and its just layin around. well i have a 96 2wd truck that could use a little lift. the only thing i have run into on the difference from 4wd to 2wd lift kits is the axle pivot brackets are different. so my question is could i install this lift minus the axle pivot brackets and get away with just a simple alignment? the only reason i ask is cause the axle pivot brackets are half the cost of a new lift kit.
